The map, born by the collaboration between the cartographer Alessandro Masnaghetti and the geologist Edmondo Bonelli, was presented in its technical aspects to the producers
Thanks to the tireless work of cartographer Alessandro Masnaghetti and geologist Edmondo Bonelli, since July the area of the Barbaresco DOCG can finally boast the 3D geological map of its production territory.
Thus a new dissemination tool is born to deepen the knowledge of soils and morphology of the territory of Barbaresco DOCG.
From morphological conformation, to the geological analysis of soils, to the influence of climate, during the evening of Thursday 12 September the two creators of the map illustrated the territory of the Barbaresco DOCG using the 3D geo-viticultural map, in a meeting attended which showed the use of it to the public of producers.
