In the 19th century, the Sarotto family of farmers moved from Barbaresco to Neviglie, practicing vine cultivation in the area. The Sarotto family's winemaking activity began in 1870, when the grapes produced were almost entirely sold to the wine cellars in the area. Thanks to the work of Roberto Sarotto, who graduated in Oenology in Alba, the activity developed significantly until reaching the total vinification and bottling of the grape production. Today the company extends over a vineyard area of 90 hectares, located in various municipalities: Barolo, Novello, Neive, Mango, Neviglie and in Monferrato in the municipality of Gavi, San Cristoforo and Parodi Ligure.
