Oddero Poderi e Cantine is a historic brand, founded at the end of the 18th century, when they were already cultivating vines in the municipality of La Morra. In 1878, ahead of his time, Giacomo Oddero (1851-1915) began bottling his own wines under the family name. Starting in the 1950s, Giacomo, the grandson of the first, renovated the old farm, raising the quality and prestige of the wines produced. The cellars are located in Santa Maria di La Morra, composed of a modern part equipped with the necessary technologies for winemaking, and another older part dating back to the 18th century, which is used for refining and aging the wines. Today the company boasts 35 hectares of land that include the best crus of the Langhe and Asti areas from which it obtains the excellence of Piedmontese wines.
