The company was officially founded in 1980 from Virginio Molino’s passion for viticulture. Born into a family traditionally dedicated to viticulture, Virginio had to abandon the family business until the early 1980s, when he rented a farmhouse in Barbaresco with 2.5 hectares of land and a small area for winemaking. In 1990, the family left the Barbaresco company to purchase a 6.5-hectare property in Treiso, building the annexed winery for production, aging and bottling. Today, the company is managed by Virginio’s three sons: Tommaso, Franco and Dario, who work in the vineyard and cellar as well as marketing without distinction of role.
