Cascina Alberta was built in 1927. The first vineyards of Nebbiolo for Barbaresco were registered in 1979, although it is assumed that viticulture had been practiced since its foundation. The company is based in Treiso, and has an extension of 19 hectares of which 9 are cultivated with vineyards. The company's philosophy aims to recover the old vineyards through sustainable viticulture without the use of pesticides or weed killers. Since 2015, the company has been in certified organic conversion.
