Bruno Giacosa, born in 1929, represents the third generation of the Giacosa family, which has always worked in the wine sector. Ahead of his time, he was one of the first to vinify Barbaresco in 1967, specifying the cru on the label, that is, the geographical mention of the origin of the grapes, and has earned the title of undisputed “master” of high-quality winemaking. Since 2006, the company has been passed on to his daughter Bruna Giacosa, who follows her teachings with an eye to modernity.
