The Bersano winery was founded in 1907 in Nizza Monferrato, the heart of the Barbera d’Asti region. Bersano, now owned by the Massimelli family, directly manages 10 farms and over 230 hectares of vineyards in the best “Cru” of Monferrato and the Langhe. Bersano has always believed in the importance of the vineyard, considered the founding nucleus of wine quality, working in close contact with the land and respecting the Piedmontese winemaking tradition. The company also boasts the “Museo delle Contadinerie” and the “Museo delle antiche stampa del vino”, concrete evidence of Piedmontese peasant culture and civilization.
